​My journey into the early years sector began in 2010, when I recognised a growing need to transform how nurseries operate—not just for business success, but for the well-being of every child, family, and team member involved.

Before starting my own early years journey, I ran a sports coaching business and had the privilege of working with over 50 nurseries across London. Through that experience, I saw a clear opportunity: the potential to create nurturing, positive, and values-driven environments was being overlooked. This realisation became the foundation for what would grow into Purple Lion Day Nurseries—a group of four (and counting) settings where positivity, individuality, and a people-first culture are embraced every day.

Over the past six years, I've worked to deeply embed these values into each nursery, creating places where children thrive, families feel supported, and teams are truly empowered.
